IRVINE, Calif., November 28, 2011 – Steadfast Companies announced today that real estate securities marketing expert, Richard Gann, has been hired as chief marketing officer for Steadfast Capital Markets Group (SCMG), the company's securities and financial services division.

In this newly created role, Gann will oversee all strategic marketing functions to assist in the overall positioning and growth of the Steadfast Income REIT, the company's $1.65 billion public, non-traded real estate investment trust, as well as future alternative investment programs.

Over the past five years Gann has overseen sales and marketing initiatives for a total of six non-traded REITs and numerous private placement offerings while working in vice president roles for Orange County, Calif.-based KBS Capital Markets Group and Grubb & Ellis Company.

After receiving his bachelor's degree in Political Science from UCLA and his juris doctorate degree from California Western School of Law in San Diego, Gann spent the first nine years of his career as a transactional attorney focused on real estate, property taxation and estate planning.

Gann is a general securities principal, licensed real estate broker, member of the State Bar of California and a published author of "How to Give Presentations that Win."
