Steadfast Companies Announces SeaTac Mall Redevelopment
Team
NEWPORT BEACH, CA -- March 7, 2003 -- Steadfast Commercial Properties
is taking steps to redevelop SeaTac
Mall with the announcement of the Redevelopment Team principle
members today. Steadfast Commercial Properties is proud to welcome
on board S.D. Deacon (Bellevue, WA), the General Contractor and
Project Manager for Phase I of the redevelopment. In addition, the
following Redevelopment Team members were announced:
The leasing team is a unique combination of seasoned professionals
with over 80 years of mall and retail experience. Composed of Pentz
& Partners (Newport Beach, CA), Northwest Retail Partners (Seattle,
WA) and Katz & Associates (Bellevue, WA), with individual team
members John Pentz, Robert Andrews, Randy Cantrell and John Meyerdierks,
SeaTac Mall will be repositioned into one of the Northwest's finest
regional/community malls.
Fleetwood B. Joiner & Associates (Newport Beach, CA) will be
the principal in charge of site, master, interior and exterior planning
for the shopping center. Sparling Electrical Engineering (Seattle,
WA) and its alliance partners CDI Mechanical Engineering and Candela
Architectural Lighting Consultants will provide electrical, mechanical
and plumbing engineering services for the shopping center. ESM Consulting
Engineering (Federal Way, WA) will be providing civil engineering
services for the redevelopment.
SeaTac Mall was acquired by Steadfast Commercial Properties on
February 26, 2003. The 63 acre site was first developed by Newman
Properties in 1975. Through the years, the mall has never had a
major renovation. Steadfast Commercial Properties operates a 2,000,000
sq. ft. commercial portfolio and has built out 2,750,000 sq. ft.
of commercial space and developed and sold 7,800,000 sq. ft. of
land since 1996. The Steadfast Companies have over 570 employees
and develop, own and operate major apartment communities, retail
industrial, office, hospitality and senior housing in the Western
United States.
SeaTac Mall is located just one block off of I-5 on 320th Street
in The Heart of Federal Way. Mall hours are 10am-9pm.m. Monday-
