Steadfast Resort Properties was created for the acquisition of resort properties in the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America.

The Steadfast Resort Properties business model includes two principal businesses: the ownership and management of resort hotels and the development of vacation ownership resorts, or timeshares.

The Resort division seeks to acquire poorly managed and under performing hospitality assets with identifiable upside. Acquired properties are managed by IHR of Mexico, a joint venture between Steadfast Companies and Interstate Hotels and Resorts (NYSE:IHR). The company currently manages and provides other services for the hotels in Cabo San Lucas, Ixtapa, and Manzanillo Mexico.

Since 2005, Steadfast hotels and resorts have the name “Tesoro Resorts”, its own hotel brand and first Mexican all-inclusive brand.

The name of Tesoro Resorts, mean “treasure” in Spanish.The Tesoro Resorts brand is designed to provide discerning leisure travelers with incredible value and spectacular settings to enjoy the most treasured moments in life: time spent with family, friends and loved ones.
